Purchasing

How can I buy?

In our online shop you can easily explore the extensive range of our vintage segment and also purchase it directly. If you would like to appraise our watches and jewelery before you buy them, we look forward to your visit to our shop in Fürth.

What payment options do I have?

In our webshop you can pay in advance by bank transfer. In our shop in Fürth we accept cash, credit cards and EC cards. Please note the daily limit for your electronic cards. If necessary, you can have the limit increased accordingly by your bank.

How does shipping work?

We ship your order accordingly insured by UPS, FedEx or DHL. From the time the order is made available and after it has been handed over to the parcel service, it usually takes 1-2 working days for the shipment to reach you. We will inform you about the shipment by e-mail and send you the shipment data for tracking. Please make sure that you are personally present at the time of delivery to be able to receive the package. Shipping is currently only possible within Germany and the EU. Which return conditions do I have to consider?

If you are not satisfied with the delivered goods or do not want to keep them for other reasons, you can cancel your purchase at any time within a period of 14 days by contacting us in writing. We will then be happy to send you all the return documents so that you can send the watch or jewelery back to us with insured value. You will then be refunded your purchase amount after the incoming inspection in our workshop.

Are the pieces checked before sale?

With Kuhnle Vintage you are always on the safe side. We guarantee that every item sold at Kuhnle Vintage has been personally checked and verified by our experts in our in-house master workshop according to our rating system.

Optical condition

0: New condition, unworn, some still foiled

1: Hardly/minimal signs of wear

2: Slight to normal signs of wear

3: Normal signs of wear plus some deeper scratches that do not completely disappear with polishing

4: Normal to clear signs of wear plus many deeper scratches that do not disappear completely even after polishing

5: Strong signs of wear but still without impairment of function, strap worn out

6: Heaviest signs of wear, some of which cause malfunctions (e.g. rotating bezel stuck), strap worn out (risk of loss)

 

Technical condition

0: Manufacturer's warranty still running

1: New condition or newly revised

2: Fully functional, but the watch has been running for a few years since purchase or last revision

3: Functional but with rate deviations, no longer full power reserve, revision advisable but not yet urgently necessary

4: Revision necessary. Partial failures possible (e.g. automatic winding no longer functional, quick date adjustment no longer functional)

5: Revision urgently required. Partial repair pointless, no longer functional, possibly slight rust. Defects can still be corrected by revision

6: Irreparable condition, spare parts no longer available, possibly severe rust, economic total loss.

 

 

Can the strap of a purchased watch be adjusted?

We would be happy to customize your band when you pick it up personally at our shop in Fürth. Alternatively, you can give us your wrist size when placing your order. Our watchmakers will then adjust the bracelet to your desired size before shipping.

What are CPO watches?

CPO is the abbreviation for "certified pre-owned". These are pre-owned watches that have been tested and certified for authenticity and function by our experienced watchmakers in our in-house master workshop.

How can I sell?

You are welcome to make an appointment for an appraisal in our shop or use the convenient purchase form via the navigation bar.

What can I sell?

You can sell jewelry and watches with us. We are always looking for special watches and jewelery to keep our comprehensive collection varied and up to date. If you own such a watch or a special piece of jewelery and would like to exchange or sell it, you can contact us at any time. Simply make an inquiry using our contact form and we will let you know whether a sale is possible and, if so, at what price (subject to the final examination of the pieces).

Can I also sell scrap gold?

You are also welcome to sell your scrap gold to us.
Whether it's a defective watch or a defective bracelet, gold bars, coins or even dental gold - we will professionally evaluate your old gold and make you an appropriate offer.

Which watch brands can I sell?

We mainly focus on the brands ROLEX, OMEGA, PATEK PHILIPPE, TUDOR, AUDEMARS PIGUET, IWC, HEUER, JAEGER-LECOULTRE, CARTIER and BREITLING. You are also welcome to use our contact form to send us an inquiry about other brands.

What selling options are available to me?

You can trade in your pieces, directly, or sell them on a commission. We would be happy to advise you on which sales option best suits your watch or jewelery and your requirements.

Our vintage expert Kerstin Hermann values ​​your pieces according to our fixed rating system, taking into account the current market situation. Simply use our contact form for a first rough assessment.

Can I also have an expert opinion drawn up for my jewelery and/or my watches?

We would be happy to provide you with an expert opinion for your pieces. It doesn't matter whether you want an inheritance value or replacement value report, e.g. B. need for insurance. If necessary, we are available to you as a neutral authority and will answer your questions. The costs for preparing an appraisal depend on the effort and scope of the items to be valued. We would be happy to make you an individual offer.
